The Classy Canine was an established business purchased in 1998 by 2 friends Julie Henville and Mark Chapman who were already working together at another Sydney salon.

Julie and Mark decided that they wished to purchase a salon of their own and work for themselves. They took a good business and turned it into a great business bringing to the Campbelltown area services that did not already exist, Mark was trained in all types of clips and shapes for every breed of dog imaginable and luckily for Julie he trained her to be just as proficient, she was also trained in the grooming and clipping of cats.

This happy partnership flourished and went from strength to strength over the ensuing years with rarely a hicccup and the enjoyment of some great clients who have been with us and supported us for the past 11 years.

Mark was diagnosed with Melanoma is 2008 and battled on really well, Unfortunately Mark's health took a turn for the worst in late January 2009, after discussions with his doctors he decided he could not return to work, so as per a "deal" he initiated with Julie many years ago the business was signed into sole proprietorshop to Julie as he wished for her to carry on in the business that had bought so much joy to both of them. Mark's family were happy that he left the one thing he loved in good hands. 

Mark is sorely missed everyday by Julie and his clients, he was larger than life character that offered a laugh or some advice, the business will continue to carry on with a few minor changes to make things easier and run efficiently.
